The reform of state-owned enterprises has encountered many challenges.Seeking for opportunities in the crisis and taking measures initiatively have become key moves for enterprises to overcome the difficulties.The traditional management and the demand for high-quality development of enterprises have contradicted with each other remarkably.Inventory management served as an important section of “low-cost,supreme-quality,and high-efficiency”,which attracts attention of the managers.Therefore,how to apply the supply chain to optimize and improve inventory management,reduce budget,and improve operating levels as well as profitability are important in reality.This thesis focuses on the inventory management of W Company,a military service company that is undergoing reform.This thesis analyzes the existing inventory management problems and introduces the concept of lean production to optimize the inventory management scheme.Firstly,by analyzing the organizational structure and functions of W company and pointing out the problems in the division of duties,this thesis puts forward the establishment of the organizational structure system of inventory management division and establishes the target traction mechanism and the closed loop measures of the process.Secondly,according to the optimization of two-way and multi-level plan management system,this thesis analyzes the functions of the information platform of the company and then proposes the idea of establishing the supply chain inventory management integrated information system and the warehouse real-time monitoring system.Thirdly,by analyzing the problems of supply chain management mode,this thesis puts forward the improvement of supplier management system,the introduction of vendor management inventory and lean production mode.Finally,aiming at inventory and purchasing management,this thesis puts forward the introduction of material classification method and adjustment of purchasing strategy to control inventory and expand the processing channels of stagnant materials.Thanks to the adjustment and optimization of four aspects of W company,i.e.,organizational structure and management process,information technology support,supply chain management mode,and inventory purchasing management,this thesis helps theenterprise to reduce costs,improve production efficiency and capital turnover rate,while promoting the transformation and upgrading of enterprises with high quality development and improving the economic benefits of the whole supply chain.This study offers insight into inventory management to other similar enterprises. |
