Research On The Influence Of Partnership On The Purchase Cost Of Supply Chain Materials For EPC Projects

With the successive introduction of relevant policies and systems in China,the EPC general contracting model is increasingly adopted by the government,qualified developers,and many capable design institutes and general contractors.Most EPC projects are vast and accompanied by many risks,and procurement is not only a bridge connecting design and construction,and procurement costs account for a relatively high proportion of the total cost,so procurement management has become a key point for project cost control,speeding up progress and improving quality.At the same time,procurement management is a weakness and a frequent source of risk in project cost management.Under the current situation,the problem of insufficient supply cost management capability in the supply chain of EPC projects has become increasingly prominent.Relevant research shows that relying on rigid contract governance in the process of project cooperation is not only not conducive to the reduction of the procurement cost of the supply chain materials of the EPC project,but even causes the increase of costs.Therefore,based on the flexible governance perspective of partnership,it is necessary to conduct research on the procurement cost of supply chain materials for EPC projects.First of all,this paper designs the questionnaire for the current status of EPC project supply chain management by analyzing the relevant literature on EPC project supply chain management,and uses SPSS to analyze the results of the questionnaire survey of the current status of EPC project supply chain management.The main problems of management are the lack of supply chain cost management capabilities.At the same time,supply chain coordination,information sharing capabilities,inventory management capabilities and risk response capabilities are also problems at this stage.Secondly,in view of the problems existing in the current stage of EPC project supply chain management,from the perspective of relationship governance,the hypothetical relationship and theoretical model between "partnership",supply chain flexibility and EPC project supply chain material procurement cost optimization are proposed.That is,“partnership” is positively acting on the flexibility of the supply chain,and supply chain flexibility is positively acting on the optimization of the procurement cost of the supply chain materials of the EPC project.On this basis,the scale design of these three variables is carried out with reference to existing scales.Amos was used to establish the structural equation model,the reliability and validity analysis and model fitting analysis of the data were carried out,and the model was modified to achieve the optimal fit.After verification,some hypotheses were established.Finally,based on the perspective of partnership,some suggestions on the design of flexible contract terms for EPC projects are proposed.From the perspective of partnership governance,this paper studies the procurement cost management of supply chain materials for EPC projects.The text finds the influence path of “partnership” on the procurement cost optimization of the supply chain materials of the EPC project,and puts forward relevant suggestions for the design of flexible contract terms in the EPC project,which provides a reference for the partnership management between enterprises and the establishment of initial contracts.
