The current global background of trade globalization and the national“Belt and Road” strategy have put forward higher requirements for China's wharf engineering construction management.Traditional wharf construction management has gradually exposed numbers of shortcomings asit cannot keep up with the requirements of the information age.However the emergence of BIM technology provides theories and methods for solving such problems.The paper takes high-pile wharf which is commonly used in the Yangtze River Delta of China as the research object,and analyzes the traditional wharf construction process and technology.To verify the applicability and superiority of BIM technology in the field of wharf engineering,Ningbo Chuanshan No.1 Wharf Project(abbreviated)was selected for BIM modeling and simulation.Also,further exploration of the construction of an efficient and intelligent management solution based on the integration of BIM-based wharf engineering design,construction and operation.The main work and research conclusions are as follows:(1)Revit was selected as the modeling software of high-piled wharf foranalysis,and the Ningbo Chuanshan No.1 Wharf Project was modeled,providing the model foundation for subsequent BIM application.In the process of component assembly and modeling,five design problems,such as the connection of component dimensions,were found intuitively and avoid the late rework.(2)BIM visualization simulation was carried out for pile foundation construction in the key process of Ningbo Chuanshan No.1 Wharf Project.Pile collision simulation was carried out through the application of Revit,Navisworks and Unity3 D software to optimize the pile position map of wharf project and avoid direct economic loss of 4% of the total construction price of pile foundation.It effectively improves the visualization degree of pier pile foundation construction plan simulation and pile sinking scheme,and the efficiency of scheme review and disclosure.It accelerates the integration and interaction of construction quality and inspection data information,and achieves the purpose of improving the quality and safety management level of pile sinking construction.(3)The application of BIM in pile foundation engineering of Ningbo Chuanshan No.1 Wharf Projectwas derived into the integrated intelligent management of design,construction and operation of the project.Compared with the traditional wharf design and construction operation management,the problems of drawings can be discovered in time in the design stage and the efficiency of drawing review can be improved by about 40%.In theconstruction stage,the level of review and disclosure of construction plans were improved and the construction plan was optimized as well,shorten the construction period by about 10%;Through data integration,the interaction between engineering data and information in the construction and operation stage is strengthened,which facilitates the treatment safety management during construction periodand operation maintenance.
