The electric heating furnace is widely used in the field of industry and civil using.Its control method is generally the regular PID mode.However,non-linerary,large-inertia and large-lag are the characteristic of electric heating furnace,so it is difficult to establish a precise math model.The problems brought by the regular PID temperature-control system are the higher overshoot and the stronger oscillation.To solve these problems,it is necessary to adopt a more advanced controlling mode.This project tends to illustrate the developing trend and research situation of the electric heating furnace in the world,and also analyze the basic principles and traits of the regular PID mode and the fuzzy PID mode in detail.By comparison and analysis,this project comes up with a new method which combine the two modes together organically.To verify its praticability,the project makes a comparison among parameter self-tuning fuzzy PID control mode,the regular PID control mode and the fuzzy PID control mode by using MATLAB software.It is obvious that its function is much better than the latter two modes,having the advantages of smaller overshoot,stronger interference immunity,the shorter time entering stability and higher control accuracy.To verify the simulation result further,the project establishes the experimental hardware platform and uses SCM IAP15F2K61S2 to control the electric heating furnace using prameter self-tuning fuzzy PID control mode.The result has verified its advantage,correctness and reliability.Using parameter self-tuning fuzzy PID control mode to control the temperature of the electric heating furnace accurately shows the reacting speed is faster than the regular PID mode,the overshoot is smaller,the interferance immunity is stronger,the system stability is much better,self-adapting ability is stronger,dynamic characteristic is more active,the accuracy is higer and the robustness is stronger.
