With the advent of the era of knowledge economy and globalization,the calls for comprehensive talents have become louder and louder.With the promotion of traditional education,students receive professional knowledge guidance unidirectionally and passively,lacking interdisciplinary problem-solving thinking,innovative thinking,and leadership skills.The disadvantages of traditional education have become more and more obvious.Therefore,academy system began to rise in our country.The residential college is an important platform for the "academy system" education.It is a comprehensive building that integrates multiple functions such as learning and life.It originated in the United Kingdom and later in different countries and regions such as the United States and Hong Kong,this model has been continuously imitated.However,there are a lot of gaps between many domestic residential colleges and the mature college system abroad.Due to the late start of the design of the residential college in China,insufficient research,and the delay in the introduction of the relevant specifications,a large number of residential colleges have problems such as limited by the existing architectural model,the functional structure is unreasonable,and actual utilization rate of public space is too low,and the space is not conducive to the communication between teachers and students,etc.This has become the focus of academic and social attention.Under the above background,this paper takes the spaces of residential college as the research object,combines qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis,conducts systematic research from the subjective and objective levels,and proposes the universal principles and specific design strategies of architecture design of the residential college.The thesis will provide a certain reference and guidance for the architectural design of residential colleges.The article mainly discusses from the following four aspects:The first part corresponds to the first two chapters of this thesis.It summarizes the research status and research background of residential college architecture,clarifies the research direction and ideas of this article,and analyzes the development necessity of residential college and its architectural characteristics.The second part corresponds to the third and fourth chapters.From the perspective of the user,through the use of post-evaluation methods such as structured questionnaires and interviews,the relationship between the behavioral psychology of students and the built-in environment of the residential college is studied.Comparing horizontally with different types of residential academy building spaces,the students ’behavior patterns,the key factors of the academy ’s space design,and the tendency to use the space are obtained;The third part corresponds to the fifth chapter of the article,starting from the building ontology,through graphic analysis,on-site investigation and quantitative analysis of space syntax and other methods to study the spatial organization of the residential college building and its guiding mechanism for student behavior.The combination principle and optimization strategy of the building space of the residential college.The fourth part is the final chapter of the article.Combining with the previous series of research results,it proposes the specific strategy of residential college architectural design,and tests the design strategy through actual engineering projects.
