In this paper, the existing built environment subjective evaluation methodology has been used combined with the characteristics of the kindergarten building, taking Yuhang Tiaoxi kindergarten for the study, to evaluate profoundly all aspects of its built environment. Proceeding from the perspective of the relationship between users’ behavior and kindergarten built environment, it shall synthetically evaluate and centrally evaluate, with the research been subdivided into four aspects:"Teaching action-Built environment", "Children’s spontaneous playing action-Built environment"," Taking to and bringing back action-Built environment" and "Logistics services action-Built environment".For teaching action, a quantized research design pattern is used to evaluate the subjective quality of built environment and the corresponding satisfaction degree; for Children’s spontaneous playing action, a quantized combining qualitative research design pattern is used to evaluate the subjective quality of built environment; for taking to and bringing back action, a quantized research design pattern is used to evaluate the corresponding convenient degree and comfortable degree; for logistic services action, a qualitative research design pattern is used to evaluate the subjective quality of built environment.The final evaluation results include the subjective evaluation conclusion and the detailed deduction from the subjective evaluation, which can be used for the architecture of the same type. Debugging designs are made afterwards based on the evaluations finally.This paper attempts to establish a relatively sound subjective evaluation methodology of the kindergarten built environment basing on a specific case by analyzing profoundly and evaluating entirely. It not only display the characteristics of kindergarten architecture itself and the corresponding evaluation results of built environment, but also establish a targeted, specific and in-depth evaluation methodology.
