With the development of power electronics technology,power converters are widely used in people's production and life,which leads to the problems of input current distortion on AC grid,harmonic pollution and lower power factor.Using power factor technology can effectively reduce harmonic pollution,improve power factor and ensure the reliability of power supply.It is a hot research topic in today's society.In order to further reduce the current ripple,device stress and inductance volume of traditional Boost PFC circuit and improve its efficiency and power density,Interleaved parallel technology can be used.Interleaved parallel technology can significantly reduce current ripple,which is conducive to the design of EMI Filter and improve the power level of the converter.Therefore,this paper chooses Interleaved Boost PFC converter as the research object.Firstly,this paper introduces the research background,the classification of power factor correction technology and the research status at home and abroad,and explains the significance of the research.Secondly,based on Critical Conduction Mode,the working principle,soft switching conditions,steady-state characteristics and frequency characteristics of interleaved Boost PFC converter are analyzed.Secondly,paper introduces the topology and characteristic of interleaved Boost PFC converter and gives a detailed analysis of its main waveforms and inductor current ripple when it work in continuous conduction mode(CCM),discontinuous conduction mode(DCM)and critical conduction Mode(CRM).Besides,this paper analyses the work principle of CRM interleaved Boost PFC converter in detail.Based on CRM mode,it proposes a new detection circuit and control method.Finally,through hardware design and software design,an interleaved Boost PFC converter with rated output power of 800 W is built and verified by experiments.The experimental results show that the interleaved Boost PFC converter designed in this paper can achieve 0.99 power factor,0.96 efficiency and less than 3% THD at rated input and output.The output voltage is stable and the power device can realize soft switching.Overall,the interleaved Boost PFC converter designed in this paper has excellent performance and can be used in many applications.
