The development of urbanization not only brings convenience to life,but also brings a lot of environmental problems.Among them,water problems cannot be underestimated.Problems such as urban waterlogging,water pollution,water shortage,etc.are particularly prominent.If we do not pay attention and solve the problems,water problems will in turn restrict the development of the city.To solve the water problem,we must handle and use rainwater properly at first.In this regard,China has proposed the concept of "sponge city" construction.As an important part of the city,urban parks have large areas of green space and water.They can be used as natural rainwater storage and utilization sites,and are excellent carriers for the implementation of sponge cities.Taking this as an opportunity,this article will carry out research based on the concept of sponge city,aiming to explore the methods and implementation methods of incorporating the concept of sponge city into urban park planning and design.This article takes Tianjin as the research object.First,through the analysis and research on the natural environment and the background of sponge city construction in Tianjin,the feasibility of applying the concept of sponge city to the construction of Tianjin urban park was discussed.Secondly,combined with the natural characteristics of Tianjin,explore and evaluate the low-impact development facilities and application points suitable for the construction of Tianjin sponge city.At the same time,the author selects six rain and flood management project cases with strong reference significance to provide experience and reference for the following research.According to the characteristics of Tianjin's climate,soil,drainage,etc.,select suitable urban park low-impact development facilities and build a rainwater system for the urban park.Then,the design methods of each element of the park are proposed from the aspects of vertical,water,soil,plants,roads,buildings and sites.Finally,the research content is applied to the specific practice of the planning and design of Tianjin Houtai Urban Park,and the design calculation is used to estimate the hydrological benefits,thereby verifying the feasibility and necessity of the sponge city construction concept applied to the planning and design of Tianjin Urban Park.
