In recent years,in order to adapt to the requirements of urban construction,many traditional vegetable markets have been closed,demolished,or rebuilt due to poor shopping environment,the impact of new formats,and the change in crowd consumption concepts.As a part of our daily life space,the vegetable market is not only a shopping place that meets the needs of daily life,but also a social place with social attributes.It plays an important role in daily life,so it is very important for its transformation.This article defines the vegetable market as a cultural field that highlights public connotation.Public art is closely connected with the public.It is an indispensable force in enhancing the quality and characteristics of public spaces and activating the vitality of spaces.Through the intervention of public art,the food market space increases opportunities for interaction and communication,and conveys more warm social relations.Based on the related theoretical research of public art and daily life,this article studies the relationship between daily life and art,public art and the public.Through in-depth analysis of domestic and foreign cases,summarize and summarize the principles and methods of art intervention in the old vegetable market.Based on this,taking Xin Min vegetable market as the research object,field survey and analysis of the spatial environment characteristics of the vegetable market,the types of crowd behavior activities,and practical creation through in-depth understanding of the actual needs of the crowd at this time and here.With the help of micro-update and light intervention of public art,create a new atmosphere of the vegetable market space,let the public establish a close experience and perception between the public and public art,and artify daily life on the premise of satisfying their psychological and behavioral needs.I also hope that this study can be used as an example to provide references for the update and development of other old vegetable markets in China.
