With the development of industrial automation and intelligence,permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM)is widely used in modem industry and household appliances.Compared with micro-controller,FPGA has the advantages of parallel and real-time operation.And compared with ASIC,FPGA has the advantages of flexibility,short development cycle and low cost.At present,the research of FPGA in PMSM control mainly focuses on the research of sensorless control algorithms,but the sensorless algorithm cannot completely replace the position sensor.Therefore,the design of high-performance PMSM vector controller based on FPGA has great research value and practical significance.The structure and working principle of PMSM are analyzed,the equations of three-phase mathematical model of PMSM are derived,and the mathematical model of PMSM is established in the synchronous rotating coordinate system through vector coordinate transformation,and the current control decoupling strategy of non salient pole PMSM is obtained.A field oriented control(FOC)strategy based on current feedback and speed feedback is proposed,and the closed loop is analyzed and its parameters are designed.At the same time,the simulation based on Simulink of FOC control system is carried out,which verifies the feasibility of this design.The principle of space vector pulse width modulation is analyzed,and its architecture is proposed.By using the three-phase voltage obtained from the mirror transformation of the voltage vector with respect to ?=45° and then the inverse Clark transformation,the calculation of the adjacent vector action time and the judgment of the sector are simplified.Considering some problems existing in the calculation of sine and cosine values by the method of traditional look-up table,a high-precision sine cosine function calculation circuit based on CORDIC(coordinate rotation digital computer)algorithm is designed,and a better coordinate transformation module is obtained based on the above circuit.Based on the ModelSim simulation software,the function of the designed digital circuit is simulated and analyzed.The simulation results verify the correctness of the designed circuit.Using the designed PMSM controller,a typical application system is buih and experimentally examined.The experimental results show that the designed PMSM controller can work normally,and its control accuracy,stability and anti-interference ability meet the design requirements.
