With the introduction of energy consumption identification measures of household electrical appliances and requirements of energy saving and environmental protection, frequency conversion air conditioning as a new low power consumption has got rapid development, and compressor efficiency of inverter air conditioner determines its energy consumption of the air conditioning. Research on high performance motor drive technology has become a hot issue. Single chip FPGA through the modern electronic design automation (EDA) technology can realize complex algorithm.This technique can not only overcome shortcomings such as the low reliability simulation of motor control system% low zero drift and large dispersion, but also can improve the accuracy and reliability of the control circuit, what’s more,it has the advantage of shortening the development cycle of the control system. Therefore, the research and implementation of FPGA household inverter air conditioner controller is on the basis of the FPGA to achieve the high performance control of permanent magnet synchronous motor drive control system, which has important application value and research significance and lay the foundation for the research of motor control chip.It has a broad prospect in the fields of industry and household electrical appliances control.This paper firstly introduces the mathematical model of permanent magnet synchronous motor, and then the permanent magnet synchronous motor vector control theory and SVPWM technology are analyzed. Applying the rotor field oriented vector control strategy, we conduct modeling and Simulation with the controlling of permanent magnet synchronous motor rotor field orientation vector in the MATLAB/SIMULINK environment,simulation results prove the feasibility of the control strategy. And the permanent magnet synchronous motor control system hardware are designed in detail, the hardware circuit of the system mainly includes the design of IPM driving circui, position signal detection circuit,current detection circuit, AD conversion circuit, protection circuit, control circuit of FPGA.Secondly, we presents the PMSM control system design and implementation method of each module, including the vector transformation module, CORDIC algorithm module, PI control module, position detection module, speed detection module, SVPWM module and other modules, which is based on the FPGA module development process under the QuartusⅡ environment. In order to meet the design requirements, we optimize the design to reduce the occupied module chip resources of each module, and then test and verify function principle and timing of each module in the third party software modesim.Finally, based on the permanent magnet synchronous motor control system hardware platform, we conduct the experiment of open loop and closed loop, and the experimental results and waveforms are given in the paper, which is analysied and verified. The experiment results show the feasibility of the control system, and prove the accuracy of the control algorithm.
