At this stage,with the rapid improvement of China's economy and the rapid development of the catering industry and the automotive industry,the annual production of industrial waste is on a daily increase.Of all these industrial wastes,waste cooking oil and waste engine oil are two major wastes whose improper disposal will not only cause environmental pollution,but also constitute a serious waste of resources.As such,their further recycling and reuse,will contribute to greater environmental and economic benefits.The main research contents of article are as follows:Firstly,based on the domestic and foreign research conclusions on waste oil regenerated asphalt,and through the basic performance test of asphalt,the feasibility and effectiveness of waste engine oil and waste edible oil for asphalt performance regeneration at different aging times were determined.The conclusions show that both waste engine oil and waste edible oil can be effective in improving the penetration of aged asphalt,reduce its softening point and viscosity at high temperatures,and improve its plasticity at low temperatures.With the continuous addition of the optimum amount of waste oil,the basic performance indicators of asphalt at different aging times can be restored to the required values.Secondly,an orthogonal design was used to study the optimal ratio of waste engine oil,waste edible oil and two other admixtures in the compound regenerant,after which a sample of the compound regenerant regenerated asphalt was prepared in order to test the physical properties of the recycled asphalt.The results show that the compound regenerant has a good effect on the regeneration of aged asphalt,can effectively improve the basic performance of aged asphalt,and that its anti-aging performance on the recycled asphalt is excellent.This shows that it will improve the service quality and operating cycle of post-recycled asphalt pavement in the later period.Through this,we were able to put forward the best blendingFinally,the changes of the characteristic functional groups,microstructure state and compatibility stability of matrix asphalt,aged asphalt and recycled asphalt were analyzed to clarify the regeneration mechanism of the compound regenerant.The corresponding characteristic functional group changes indicate that the sulfoxide and carbonyl index of the matrix asphalt decreases during the aging process,while the hydrocarbon group functional group index in the reclaimed asphalt increases,indicating that the content of light components in the reclaimed asphalt increases.Microstructure analysis showed that when the compound regenerant is present in the aged asphalt,the medium diffusion is uniform,which helps improves the physical structure of the aged asphalt,as well as confirming that the recycled asphalt has a homogeneous structure.Compatibility analysis shows that the compound regenerant supplements the light components in the aged asphalt,the solubility difference with asphaltenes is reduced,and that the recycled asphalt colloidal structure is stable.
