With the massive transfer of rural population to cities,high-rise buildings have sprung up,building density,floor area ratio and building average height have continuously exceeded the planning limit,which directly led to the deterioration of urban living environment.On the other hand,in the follow-up operations,the gap between the living conditions that the old city can provide and the growing needs of people is growing.The research on the design of old city renewal based on wind environment optimization is of great significance to solve the problems of heat island effect,air pollution,poor ventilation,traffic congestion,insufficient activity space and scarce green space.This paper takes Panzhihua City's old city center as the research object,takes wind field organization and optimization as the entry point,and makes a rational analysis of the actual situation and wind environment measured data of the old city and an accurate interpretation of the urban master plan and the Bingyi district zoning plan.,delineate the area to be demolished.Then,using computer wind field simulation technology to study the coupling relationship between building space shape and wind environment,and to understand the wind environment characteristics of Bingyi District.Finally,relying on the urban renewal design strategies of macro,meso and micro levels to achieve the wind environment optimization of the mountainous city group in the dry-hot valley of the Jinsha River,and rethinking the optimization strategy from the comparison of various wind environment evaluation indicators before and after optimization.Feasibility and effectiveness.This study utilized Rhino3 D modeling technology,CFD wind environment simulation technology and data visualization performance technology,and explored the effectiveness and operability of these technologies in the urban design process,as well as the old city renewal design based on wind environment optimization.Provide technical ideas.The goal of urban design is to improve the quality of the environment and create a safe and livable urban space.The starting point of urban design is reasonable functional layout and quality living space.This study intends to find a spatial generation method based on wind environment optimization in urban design,explore effective strategies and feasible methods for updating the stroke environment in old cities,and rely on computer wind environment simulation technology to rationally check and at the same time Architects provide examples of wind environment optimization in the old city renewal design.
