Since the energy crisis,the issue of excessive energy consumption has attracted worldwide attention.Natural ventilation can effectively reduce the energy consumption of buildings,but also can introduce outdoor fresh air,improve the indoor air conditions,and meet the needs of human comfort and health.With the expansion of enrollment scale in colleges and universities in China,a large number of new teaching buildings have sprung up,but most of these new teaching buildings have not taken into account the problem of natural ventilation in their design,which leads to the need to rely on mechanical ventilation equipment for ventilation in use,which greatly increases the consumption of energy.In this paper,the main climate characteristics of the university teaching buildings in the hot summer and cold winter areas are expounded,the basic physical principles of natural ventilation and several working methods of natural ventilation are introduced in detail,and the design codes and evaluation standards related to the natural ventilation of buildings at home and abroad are summarized.Then,this paper summarizes the design methods of natural ventilation from the aspects of the general layout form of teaching buildings in colleges and universities,the layout form of single buildings,the wind guide measures that buildings can take,the form of building windows and the natural ventilation design of building profiles.Then it summarizes the climate characteristics and natural ventilation potential of Guilin area,determines that the research time of this paper is the turn of spring and summer,and introduces the experimental purpose,experimental objects,experimental instruments and experimental methods of this case.Field wind environment data collection is carried out on the research case,and then the overall layout of the research case and the wind environment of typical floors are simulated by Ecotect Winair CFD software.Finally,to CFD the problem of indoor and outdoor air environment which need to be improved after numerical simulation,this paper puts forward-point optimization design scheme of natural ventilation,such as changing window sash type,increasing opening area,dredging ventilation path,setting air guide wall,and again using CFD numerical simulation to verify the optimal design scheme,solves the existing natural ventilation problem,obtains the optimal design strategy of natural ventilation in teaching buildings in colleges and universities,obtains the final conclusion and puts forward the prospect.
