The study of color mainly focuses on urban planning and architecture,but does not go deep into the road environment.Most of the research on the environmental color of highway road area is qualitative description,lacking scientific and accurate quantitative color quantification technology and special control planning technology of environmental color of highway road area.This study proposed three color space quantification methods for road landscape based on the color visual elements and perception laws of highway road environment,along with the ideas of color elements,spatial attributes,and visual perception,combined with cluster analysis methods.Digital quantitative analysis of abstract colors was realized through quantization technology,and the drawing method of road and site environmental landscape color map was formed,which showed the characteristic changes of road and road colors.A quantitative method and analysis tool for highway road environment color control and planning based on digital technology was proposed.Aiming at the regional characteristics of Zhanian Highway in Qinghai Province,the color control process was studied.The research results will provide scientific theory and quantitative method basis for the color planning and control of highway landscape.The main research content and research results include the following:(1)A method for collecting and recognizing the color information of highway road environment was proposed.Monsell color theory was cited to propose three methods of color data collection based on architectural color cards,color data collection based on continuous images,and color data collection based on drone images.Combined with the CBCC Chinese building color card for quantification,according to the constituent elements of the road environment color,the chromatographic composition and extraction method based on the base color,main color,auxiliary color and embellishment color were proposed.Quantitatively expressed the conclusions of the cognition of highway road environment color under dynamic vision of driver and passengers.From the analysis of color space(base color,main color,auxiliary color,base color)and color composition(hue,lightness,chroma),the overall characteristics and map of the road environment color are obtained.The method of collecting and analyzing the color information of highway road environment was proposed.(2)Based on the digitization of road colors,combined with expert opinions,a fusion evaluation system for road colors and landscapes was proposed.The three aspects of color elements,spatial attributes,and visual perception served as a comprehensive evaluation layer.The criterion layer was divided into three aspects: function,ecology,and landscape.It comprehensively evaluated the fusion of road color and landscape.The advantages and disadvantages of the fusion of color and landscape could be obtained objectively on the basis of quantifying the color of road landscape.(3)The relevant knowledge of the geographic information system and the color data were superimposed and researched,and a GIS model was established for the zhanian road.The visual domain analysis of the road landscape color was carried out by superimposing the color value into the location information.It was proposed to obtain the public's preference for the color of the road landscape environment through location scoring and feedback system.Then the correlation was further analyzed,and the color preference value of Zhanian highway was estimated,which has important reference significance for the design and control of the environmental color of the road area.(4)The traditional qualitative analysis method was broken,and a special control and planning method for highway road environment color based on digital technology was established.Based on the basic principles of color planning and the investigation process,a method for acquiring color data was proposed from the two aspects of color space(primary,primary,secondary,and primary)and color composition(hue,lightness,and saturation).The use of digital technology meant the use of interpolation and regression algorithms to achieve the ideal color map of highway road color.Applied research was carried out using natural landscapes,human landscapes and structures as color carriers.Finally,it realized the quantitative control of color design in the form of road segmented color construction,graded construction and reconciliation mode.A set of digital color technology-supported highway road environment color quantitative control technology and method system was further established.
