Study On Optimal Design Of "Empty-nesters" Housing In Cold Cities

As a country with a large population,in the past two decades,the age structure of China’s population has gradually changed from the young type to the adult type,and soon to the old type.a country with a large population,in the past two decades,the age structure of the population has gradually changed from the young type to the adult type,and soon to the old type.The aging population base is large,and the following pension problems of the elderly.According to China’s national conditions and economic development,most of the elderly choose the home-based pension mode,which not only saves urban land resources but also promotes the process of urban renewal.However,due to the double restrictions of urban development and regional culture,it is difficult for the development of home-based pension housing in cold cities in China.After in-depth consideration of the above issues,combined with the severe environmental characteristics of cold cities in China,this paper makes a comprehensive study on how to meet the needs of the old people living in empty nests in cold areas to improve the adaptability and livability of the old-age housing in cold areas under severe cold conditions.Firstly,based on the extensive collection of practical and theoretical data,this paper puts forward the concept of aging adaptation of empty nest elderly in cold cities,analyzes the characteristics and impacts of climate and environment in cold cities in China,analyzes the physiological and psychological characteristics of 65-85-year-old empty nest elderly with self-care ability and the aging needs of the elderly in their daily life,so as to lay a good theoretical foundation for the whole study.Secondly,it deeply analyzes the space,function and emotion of the old people’s home-based old-age housing,analyzes and studies the existing problems of the old people’s home-based old-age housing in the severe cold area,provides the basis for transformation to solve the practical problems and meet the needs of the old-age housing,and then summarizes the design principles of the suitable old-age housing in the severe cold area.Finally,based on the theory of aging housing,combined with domestic and foreign cas e analysis,the scheme can be implemented.At last,the paper concludes that the reconstruction of the old-age housing should be based on the reality,ensure that the structure of the housing remains unchanged,put the security of the old-age housing in the first place,and try to improve the comfort of the housing.We have to mention the intelligent evolution of housing,w hich will occupy an important position in the future housing transformation,and it can just bring us a lot of convenience.In the proce ss of transformation,we should not only upgrade the original housing foundation,but also take the elderly’s psychology into account in the reasonable spatial planning and layout,and make a thorough study of the color style of the housing,because emotional design is also an important part of the housing transformation.There are more ways than difficulties.I hope that the housing problem of home-based elderly care in cold cities can be solved perfectly in the future.
