A Preliminary Study On The Information Expression Of Architecture In The New Media Era

Becides providing material places for human social life,architecture also has the function of disseminating information.It is an information medium.With the development of computer and Internet technology,new media,which is based on digital information technology and characterized by two-way interaction of information,has come into being.In the era of new media,the information expression of architecture is also influenced by new media and has the new characteristics in terms of technology,form and content.In this context,this paper discusses the influence of technology and concepts in the new media era on the information expression of architecture,summarizes the information expression characteristics and expression methods of architecture in the new media era,and takes the new media job center as an example to analyze and design,so as to discuss its design application.The research is divided into the following stages: firstly,starting from the definition of new media and the mediality of architecture,this paper studies the characteristics of new media and its influence on the information expressed in architecture,and summarizes the information expression characteristics of architecture in the new media era.Then,this paper studies the information expression cases of the existing architectural interface and architectural space,and summarizes the expression methods corresponding to the new features.Lastly,taking the job center as an example,this paper investigates and analyzes the needs of users for information expression and the deficiencies of existing job centers in information expression.Combined with the information expression methods of buildings in the new media era studied,the paper proposed design strategies and carried out design operations from the perspective of interface and space,so as to discuss the application of the information expression methods of architecture in the new media era in architectural design.This paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly includes the research background,research scope,related concept analysis,research method,purpose,significance,and research status at home and abroad.The second chapter puts forward the characteristics of information expression of architecture in the new media era: 1.Adopting digital information expression technology;2.Changing the content of information expression from static information to dynamic and interactive information;3.The third and fourth chapters respectively discuss the information expression methods of architectural interface and architectural space based on cases,and specifically study: 1.The display methods of information,2.The organization and composition methods of information,3.The way information interacts.In chapter five,based on the information expression of architecture in the new media era summarized above,the author analyzes and designs the job-seeking center to explore its application in design practice.The sixth chapter is the summary and prospect.It summarizes the research and looks into the future.
