Spatial Organization Research Of Radiotherapy Department In Cancer Hospital And Large General Hospital

As the critical factor to clarify circulation,rationalize layout and utilize space efficiently,spatial organization is especially important for hospital buildings with complex functions and complex space.In the situation of severe cancer prevention and treatment,the existing researches pay little attention to the radiotherapy department,which is a significant department of cancer treatment,and need further understanding of the expression of its special medical technology in architecture.The research of radiotherapy department design from the perspective of spatial organization contributes to establish a more comprehensive understanding of its circulation,layout and space.This research takes the radiotherapy department of cancer hospital and large general hospital as the study subject and has accumulated comparatively abundant basic information through literature reading,case collection and engineering practice.First of all,this research established a basic understanding of the radiotherapy department related to the spatial organization by the analysis of the department settings,department scale,medical technology,equipment configuration,construction standards and other information.Subsequently,the spatial organization of the radiotherapy department was discussed at three levels: the spatial organization of the radiotherapy department and other functional units of the hospital was analyzed at the level of the overall layout of the hospital and classified into three types: independent,semiindependent and centralized;the layout patterns among the functional areas of the radiotherapy department was summarized at the level of functional division of the department and divided into three modes: singlepassage,double-passage and multi-passage;the spatial organization within main rooms of the radiotherapy department were illuminated at the level of the medical function room and presented as an comprehensible graphic language.In the end,the actual application of the above research contents was expounded in the reconstruction and expansion project of Jiangsu Cancer Hospital.The research on the spatial organization of the radiotherapy department was systematically demonstrated through real projects and implemented in the actual design,therefore,the research and the practice are combined and mutually verified,which makes up for the lack of existing research in this aspect.The design regularities and strategies summarized in this research can be used as a reference for the construction of radiotherapy departments in the future.This thesis contains about 55000 words,including 73 figures and 9 tables.
