The rapid development of highway industry has played an important role in improving the urban system.With the rapid development of urbanization in our country,the trunk highway of common provinces is close to the main urban section of the city.While undertaking external and transit traffic,it is assuming more and more urban traffic functions,which greatly affects the overall efficiency of highway network and urban operation.Speeding up the reconstruction and expansion of national and provincial trunk highways is the best way to improve the overall operation efficiency of regional road network,and it is of great significance to solve the problems existing in our cities at the present stage.This paper takes the national highway delimited during the 12 th Five-Year Plan as the object,and takes the reconstruction and extension project of 106 National Highway from Baita River to Pengdian in Macheng,Hubei Province as an example.Through traffic volume analysis and prediction,it provides data support for the expansion.Through collecting,analyzing and comparing the basic data,the optimal route direction is determined.Aiming at the key technical problems such as selection of technical standards and differential settlement of subgrade widening section in the process of reconstruction and expansion of national provincial highway,the suitable technical scheme is determined through detailed analysis and comparison.On this basis,the feasibility of reconstruction and extension project of 106 National Highway from Baita River to Pengdian section in Macheng,Hubei Province is demonstrated through economic evaluation,energy saving evaluation and social impact evaluation of the route reconstruction scheme.Sex.The final conclusions are as follows:(1)According to the function orientation of the project,combined with the traffic volume forecast and the engineering geological conditions along the line,the research project adopted the design speed of 80 km/h of the two-way four-lane first-class highway standard.(2)By analyzing the causes of differential settlement of subgrade widening section,and comparing and demonstrating various treatment schemes,the treatment scheme of composite foundation + excavation step is selected for subgrade widening at the beginning of the project,and the treatment scheme of excavation step and geogrid is adopted for subgrade widening at the end of the project.(3)Based on the comprehensive analysis of economic evaluation,energy-saving evaluation and social risk evaluation,the technical scheme of the reconstruction and extension project of 106 National Highway from Baita River to Pengdian in Macheng,Hubei Province is feasible and has good social and economic benefits.
