Due to limited road resources,the rapid increase in the number of motor vehicles has caused a gradual deterioration of the urban transportation environment.The setting of intermittent bus lanes can realize the full use of road resources in time and space,which can not only enhance the attractiveness of public transport,ensure the dominant position of public transportation in urban transportation,but also effectively alleviate traffic congestion,reduce energy consumption,improve environmental pollution.This paper studies the operating rules and control measures of intermittent bus lanes and determines the setting conditions of intermittent bus lanes,which is of great significance for the planning,design and construction of urban bus lanes.Summarize the traffic flow rules of buses and cars on the intermittent bus lanes,and modify the calculation method of the emptying time of the section from the setting of the bus stop on the target section and the stop time of the bus at the station.Determine the system components to adapt to domestic road conditions,and improve the control flow of intermittent bus lane system.Based on the cellular automata theory,a two-lane cellular automaton model with intermittent bus lanes,dedicated bus lanes,and no bus lane was constructed.Computer simulation was used to simulate the traffic flow in different situations to obtain vehicles simulation data for variables such as density,speed,and flow.From the aspects of the number of lanes,the width of the lanes,and the form of bus stops,the road conditions required to set up intermittent bus lanes are studied.According to the simulation results of the model,the change trend of the per capita travel time difference between the case of setting up intermittent bus lanes and the case of no bus lane is analyzed,and the density conditions of intermittent bus lanes are selected.Based on the sensitivity analysis of the setting conditions of the intermittent bus lanes for the average number of passengers carried by buses and cars,the traffic flow density interval suitable for setting intermittent bus lanes when the average passenger number ratio changes is determined.The section from Weiguang Street to Renmin Street in Fanrong Road,Changchun City,Jilin Province is selected for case study.Based on the Davidson modified model,the calculation method of traffic flow density with respect to traffic volume is deduced,and the traffic flow density of the research section in each sub-period is obtained.According to the density conditions of the intermittent buslanes,the open time periods of the intermittent bus lanes are screened,and the emptying time of the sections within the open hours of the intermittent bus lanes on weekdays and non-working days is calculated.Finally,a complete scheme for laying intermittent bus lanes on actual road sections is given.
