A Study On Risk Management On Sudan UF Highway Project Of S Company

With China's economic transformation and upgrading,more and more enterprises have been going abroad to participate in the competition of international engineering market in recent years,and have made great achievements.However,Chinese international contracting enterprises face a series of risks in tracking and implementing international projects.Therefore,it is an important issue that how to systematically identify the risks of overseas projects,improve the level of risk control,and effectively protect their own profits.This paper is based on the characteristics of international engineering projects,merging empirical case of the risk management of Sudan UF Highway Project with the accumulative experience on international project risk management in an attempt to identify risk factors that might occur in the life cycle of international contracting projects,evaluate risk influence degrees and risk level of the whole project and subordinate risk factors of the project by means of Delphi Method,Analytic Hierarchy Process,and Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Method.Afterwards,some risk coping and controlling measures adopted by the project department have been adjusted,and a series of specific risk responses have been proposed.This paper aims to provide a reference for risk management of international project,and provide risk management ideas for S Company and other Chinese international contracting enterprises to enhance their risk management level and risk control ability,and guarantee the favorable development of international projects.
