As one of the four historical and cultural blocks delimited by hanzhong city,the historical and cultural block of Xi Han San Yi Zhi is a well-preserved commercial street with historical features of the Ming and qing dynasties.As an important part of the historic and cultural district,the courtyard space of traditional dwellings carries the history and culture,creates the skills and the living environment.Now the limitation of traditional residential courtyard space because of its age has can't satisfy the need of modern life,most of the damaged aging or even become a dangerous house,people eager to improve the living environment and quality of life,but because of the lack of a local suitability of policy guidance and professional basis,dismantling and destroy phenomenon abound,serious damage to the original space form and historical value.How to balance the contradiction between the urban modernization development and the traditional courtyard space protection has become the focus and difficulty of the current research work.Under this background,the analysis to sort out the western han dynasty ruins of three historical and cultural blocks traditional residential courtyard space form and current situation characteristic,discusses several issues to protect traditional residential courtyard space,explore scientific and effective protection,to perfect the traditional residential courtyard space protection theory on basic research is particularly important and urgent.This thesis takes the courtyard space of traditional dwellings in the historical and cultural block of Xi Han San Yi Zhi as the research object.First of all,the concepts involved in the research object are explained and analyzed,and the relevant protection theory is summarized.Through the method of combining field investigation and literature research,this thesis studies the formation,development and current situation of the historical and cultural block of Xi Han San Yi Zhi in hanzhong city,and excavates the value of this historical and cultural block,which is taken as the basic research.Second,through field investigation and questionnaire survey to the historical and cultural block of Xi Han San Yi Zhi traditional residential courtyard space features and evolution is analyzed,and the status quo of the study and summary,from the function of the traditional residential courtyard space,space organization,construction quality,etc of in-depth analysis,discover and summarized the western han dynasty three sites of historical and cultural blocks the status quo of traditional residential courtyard space problem.Starting from the relationship between the causes of current problems and the traditional courtyard space.From the traditional residential courtyard space function,space organization,building structure and other three aspects of a comprehensive analysis,clear cause of the current situation and the impact of the factors.Finally,based on the status quo of traditional residential courtyard space in the historical and cultural block of Xi Han San Yi Zhi,combining the existing protection theories and practical cases,the protection positioning of traditional residential courtyard space in the historical and cultural block of Xi Han San Yi Zhi was established,and the protection objectives,principles and levels were clarified.The corresponding protection strategies are put forward from the aspects of functional adaptation,spatial organization and building structure,which effectively coordinate the contradictions mentioned above.
