The unmanned surface vehicle is a kind of unmanned ship that is used for carrying out high-risk mission.The communication and navigation system is the basic guarantee for the unmanned surface vehicle to complete the complex work.Communication and navigation system for unmanned surface vehicle require the following capabilities: near shore/far shore multi-network access capabilities;network switching ability;the ability of shipboard equipment to interact with shore-based data in a variety of non-standard interfaces.Therefore,this paper designs and implements a set of communication and navigation system applied to small unmanned surface vehicle.This system can transmit all kinds of data of unmanned surface vehicle to the shore-based in real time through wireless communication,and can respond to the real-time control instructions of shore-based staff to realize the remote information interaction between the shore-based and unmanned surface vehicle.The thesis conducts research work in the following three aspects:1.The functional framework of communication and navigation system for small unmanned surface vehicle is designed.The system is divided into two parts: shore-based base station and shipborne control terminal,and the function of each part is described in detail.By analyzing the characteristics of 4G communication and Beidou short message,the multi-network fusion scheme and data communication scheme are designed;2.Design and development of software and hardware platform for communication and navigation system of small unmanned surface vehicle.In the part of shipboard control terminal,software and hardware modules supporting multi-type protocols are designed,and the communication protocol of the system is developed.The shore-based base station is composed of 4G communication system and Beidou navigation system,on this basis,a data distribution system based on Linux system is established,the system can send the received real-time data of unmanned surface vehicle to the upper computer control software system through wireless LAN,the upper computer control software system can select 4G communication network or Beidou short message according to the current communication state and send control instructions to the unmanned surface vehicle;3.Conducted laboratory tests on each functional module of the communication and navigation system of the small unmanned surface vehicle,and then transplanted the system to the unmanned surface vehicle platform independently developed by the team for sea tests after achieving the expected results.
