Research On Light Environment Design Of Western Restaurant

In China,western restaurants have been excluded from the process of being accepted as foreign cultures.Today,western restaurants have already occupied a place in the food and beverage market across the country.The light environment is an important part of the dining space.The professional light environment design starts late in China.The light environment of the western restaurant is directly related to the presentation of the food,the control of the space tonality and the consumer experience.Therefore,the light environment design of western restaurants is of great significance to the operation of the restaurant.There are several problems with the current western restaurant's light environment.First,the single manifestation of light leads to insufficient spatial layering.Second,the lighting method is improperly used and there is no reasonable distribution of light.Third,the lighting products cannot be perfectly integrated with the space style,and do not bring better emotion experience to consumers.Based on the above problems,combined with the basic theories of psychology,physics,aesthetics,social behavior and vision,this paper makes a rational study on the light environment design of western restaurants,and explores the various possibilities of light expression techniques to enhance consumers' dining experience.The research content of this paper is divided into three parts.First,an overview of the concepts related to the light environment,including the physical characteristics of light and the light environment characteristics and needs of western restaurants.Secondly,it puts forward some new design principles for the light environment of western restaurants,and analyzes the interaction between people and space under the influence of light environment from three aspects of behavior,emotion and diet.Finally,based on the actual cases at home and abroad,based on the influence of the light environment on the relationship between people and space,from the three perspectives of culture,aesthetics and emotions,the "people-oriented" design concept is used to extract the expression of the light environment of western restaurants.Through the analysis and research of this paper,we can improve the public's emphasis on the design of light environment,optimize the dining space environment,and provide reference for the future design of western restaurant light environment.
