With the continuous acceleration of China's urbanization and urban motorization process,major changes have taken place in the structure of the urban transportation system.The contradiction between transportation supply and demand and environmental pollution caused by the increase in the total number of motorized trips has become increasingly prominent.The adjustment of transportation supply-side structures such as construction,management,and management lags behind changes in the structure of transportation demand,making urban transportation operation conditions continue to deteriorate.Lanzhou is a typical belt-shaped river valley(two mountains and one river)city in China.The road network structure is greatly restricted by the urban terrain,the rail transit starts late,the transportation infrastructure is weak,and the effective connectivity of various types of transportation is poor.In recent years,The sharp increase in the number of motor vehicle trips has seriously affected the citizens' travel environment and the normal operation of society and economy.Therefore,how to construct a set of traffic congestion management framework that is suitable for Lanzhou is an important responsibility of government departments to strengthen urban management,and it is also the key to ensure the normal operation of Lanzhou.Based on this background,this paper builds a system dynamic model of the traffic congestion problem in Lanzhou by using the system dynamics method and vensim software based on the analysis of the current situation and causes of traffic congestion in Lanzhou.The simulation analysis shows the changes in traffic indicators such as the mileage of urban roads,the length of rail transit operations,the number of cars in Lanzhou in the next ten years.Based on Lanzhou's actual traffic congestion policies and measures brought into the model for simulation comparison,the impact of various traffic congestion measures on the degree of urban traffic congestion is analyzed,and a series of measures and suggestions suitable for Lanzhoutraffic congestion management are proposed based on the simulation results.Specifically,this article conducts a demonstration and research from three aspects of the current situation,causes,and suggestions for traffic congestion in Lanzhou.First of all,based on the investigation and research and the traffic related data of Lanzhou,this article analyzes the traffic congestion in Lanzhou.Second,based on the analysis of the traffic congestion in Lanzhou,based on the literature research method and questionnaire survey method,Lanzhou The causes of traffic congestion are analyzed,and the nine major aspects of Lanzhou's traffic congestion congestion list are summarized.Third,using the internal and external influence factors of the urban transportation system and the causal relationship between the subsystems,a system of traffic congestion in Lanzhou is constructed.The dynamic cause-effect circuit diagram and the stock flow diagram are used as a model basis for the simulation analysis.Finally,the established system dynamic model of traffic congestion in Lanzhou is used to combine the current major congestion policies and measures to dynamically change the model's policy.The parameters are simulated and analyzed,and various traffic congestion control measures and recommendations in terms of traffic supply management,traffic demand management,traffic operation management,and traffic subject management are finally obtained.
