With the rapid development of the automobile industry,the problem of vehicle exhaust pollution has also attracted much attention.In order to reduce fuel exhaust emissions and protect the global environment,countries are promoting and popularizing electric vehicles.As one of the forms of power for electric vehicles,series hybrid electric vehicles(SHEV)are favored by major manufacturers and consumers for their excellent power performance and endurance.At the same time,in the field of automotive motor applications,the switched reluctance motor(SRM)is often selected as the drive motor for electric vehicles due to its simple and reliable structure and excellent low-speed torque output capability.Therefore,this paper will combine the application advantages of the two,and propose a switched reluctance motor drive system suitable for SHEV.Taking this as the research object,its structural composition,operating states,working modes,operation control and energy management were analyzed and discussed.First,it introduces the research background of the subject,summarizes the application advantages and disadvantages of each motor in the drive system of electric vehicles,and expounds the current research status of SRM drive topology and control strategy.Secondly,according to the powertrain of SHEV,combined with switched reluctance generator(SRG),SRM and bidirectional DC/DC converter,a switched reluctance motor drive system suitable for SHEV is proposed.Afterwards,in order to meet the system control requirements,power closed-loop control strategy was adopted for SRG,voltage-current double-loop control strategy was adopted for bidirectional DC/DC converter,and feedforward torque PI control strategy was adopted for SRM.On the basis of this control,combined with the common energy management strategies of SHEV and the power requirements of the actual operating conditions of the vehicle,an energy management method suitable for the system is proposed,and the power control logic rules under different working modes are elaborated to complete the system power matching and energy balance.Finally,the Matlab/Simulink simulation model and experimental hardware platform of the system are built,and the control strategies of SRG,bidirectional DC/DC converter,SRM and system energy management are simulated and experimented.Both simulation and experimental results verify the feasibility of the proposed drive system and the effectiveness of the corresponding control strategy.There are 53 figures,3 tables,and 87 references in the paper.
