Application Research Of Geotechnical Engineering Investigation

Geotechnical engineering investigation is a basic work of engineering planning,design,construction,is very important.The research object of geotechnical engineering investigation mainly refers to geotechnical rock or soil properties,spatial distribution and engineering characteristics,groundwater recharge,storage,discharge characteristics and water level,variation of water quality,adverse geologic actions and geological disasters in the site and its surrounding area.Geotechnical engineering investigation methods and the main technical means including engineering geological mapping,exploration and sampling,in situ testing,laboratory testing,field inspection and monitoring,etc.Geotechnical engineering investigation report is the final result of the engineering geological survey,which is an important basis for the design and construction of the foundation.This investigation used outdoor test such as field drilling,static cone penetration test,standard penetration test,wave velocity test combind with indoor geotechnical experiment.And combined with actual engineering to propose the purpose of geotechnical engineering investigation,specific tasks and work content,in accordance with the technical standards,prospecting method and equipment selection,put forward reconnaissance site topography and geological structure,stratum structure and geotechnical nature,groundwater and site stability suitable evaluation,foundation bearing force and uniform evaluation,foundation scheme selection and treatment measures and so on.And prepare to meet the requirements of the report file,for engineering design and construction provides reasonable suggestions.In this paper,we firstly introduce the geotechnical engineering investigation,then explain the geotechnical engineering investigation methods and technical means,as well as the geotechnical engineering analysis evaluation and results report preparation,finally,examples are given to illustrate the application of geotechnical engineering theory in practice.Through the sort and analysis of the theory of geotechnical engineering,we have a more clear understanding of the theory of geotechnical engineering,and then better to apply the theory of geotechnical engineering to thepractical engineering.On the other hand,through the geotechnical engineering instance,also can promote the understanding of geotechnical engineering theory,so as to prepare the results meet the requirements of the report file,for engineering design and construction to provide reasonable,applicable and important information and suggestions,to ensure project to be carried out reasonable,prompting project to achieve the best economic,social and environmental benefits.
