| With concepts like’Digital Earth’,’Digital China’and’Digital City’ being put forward and the rapid development of modern spatial information technology, the geotechnical engineering and visualization has become the forefront of geological study. The Outline of the ’Twelfth Five-Year Plan’ of Ministry of National Housing and Development has come up with specific requirements that large-sized backbone geological investigation units must establish three-dimensional strata information system. Geotechnical engineering information construction based on three-dimensional geological modeling has become current urgent needs in the field of geo-science in our country.Research on geology and geotechnical project three-dimensional modeling, visualization and spatial analysis, has plenty of practical significance and application value for realizing the scientific management of urban geotechnical engineering, improving the level of informatization of geotechnical engineering and intelligent decision-making. This paper based on summarizing three-dimensional geological modeling research and software status both at home and abroad, in view of the current situation of the geotechnical engineering excavation design and visual analysis to carry out the research, mainly solves the following problem:(1) Based on the Lizheng geotechnical engineering database, geotechnical engineering object data model and data structure has been designed.(2) Using virtual drilling technology, the modeling approach of massive geological body of civil engineering sites and linear engineering geological body buffer are proposed and realized under the constraint of distance and borders.(3) Based on three-dimensional geological body and foundation pit body model, the seamless integration of both methods was proposed after the introduction of boolean operation of ideas. Foundation pit lateral expansion plan, geological body cutting after digging, building basal analysis and excavation earthwork quantity calculation have been realized based on integrated model design.(4) A new texture mapping technique of adjustable ratio is designed to realize the realistic visualization of geological body and foundation pit excavation, as well as visual information query of strata, soil sample and standard penetration test.(5) Using object oriented programming technology, based on OpenGL graphics library, functions have become a reality such as geological modeling buffer, visual query and analysis, foundation pit excavation and analysis.With several geotechnical engineering actual project application and verification, results indicate that the paper proposed geotechnical engineering modeling and the design of analysis algorithm, and the stability of developed prototype system is feasible and has certain theoretical significance and engineering application value. |
