In the early stage,the power system test of diesel locomotive has been attached great importance in foreign countries,and a variety of automatic test equipment has been developed to ensure the reliability of locomotive.But in recent years,with the rapid development of electrified trains in foreign countries,diesel locomotive has been gradually phased out.In China,the internal combustion engine car is still widely used,as the supporting equipment around the railway depot,mainly as a traction vehicle.This article expounds the background of hydraulic resistance of diesel locomotive,the current situation at home and abroad,the causes of hydraulic resistance and the working principle of hydraulic resistance.The power system failure of diesel engine-main generator is the main cause of engine failure in the operation of railway locomotives.Locomotive manufacturers load test is the entire diesel engine,generator,motor each part of a separate bench test,test performance,and then the load running-in test of the whole machine.Therefore,the water resistance test is very important to ensure the safe operation of diesel locomotive.Taking JMD580 FM electric drive diesel locomotive designed and manufactured by jiangsu jinchuang vehicle co.,LTD as an example,the water resistance test was carried out after the manufacturing was completed.It is used to simulate and verify whether the locomotive meets the design requirements under various working conditions.At the same time,the thermal parameters and mechanical running-in conditions of the diesel unit equipped with the locomotive are verified.The external characteristics and relevant parameters of the locomotive traction generator are adjusted.Ensure the locomotive to reach the best running state.At the same time to ensure that the locomotive is well assembled,safe and reliable operation.Test process is aimed at JMD580 FM type electric drive diesel locomotive in water resistance test in the process of fault,and introduce failure mode effect and hazard analysis(FMECA)technology,was carried out on the water resistance test failure in the process of failure mode effects analysis and hazard analysis,through the FMECA analysis auxiliary generator and diesel engine that is two parts water resistance test failure problem is widespread,avoided effectively through the water resistance test to verify some driving locomotive fault,further the reliability of the locomotive running.Two typical cases of auxiliary 110 V power supply failure and diesel engine speed reduction failure were analyzed,improved and verified to optimize the design structure and design parameters.
