The damping performance of the vehicle suspension system affects the smoothness,safety and ride comfort of the vehicle.Unlike ordinary urban rail vehicles,the running wheels of the suspended monorail vehicles use pneumatic rubber tires,and the vehicle body is located under the bogie,and the vehicle runs at high altitude.This means that suspension systems for suspended monorail vehicles require higher performance standards and requirements to improve vehicle stability and ride comfort.The active suspension system can effectively improve the vibration damping performance of the vehicle.Therefore,this paper uses different control methods to study the vertical control effect of the active suspension system of the suspended monorail vehicle,and improve the running stability and ride comfort of the suspended monorail vehicle.In this paper,the suspended monorail was taken as the research object,and the vertical six-degree-of-freedom vibration mathematical model of the suspended monorail vehicle was established.According to the vehicle system dynamics principle,the SIMPACK dynamic model of the suspended monorail was established.Two controllers of active suspension system were designed by PID and LQG control methods.The Matlab/Simulink and SIMPACK co-simulation were used to compare the stability index and vertical acceleration of the active suspension system and passive suspension system of the two control modes.The simulation test showed that the stability of the active suspension system controlled by the two control methods was improved,and the vertical acceleration and vertical displacement of the vehicle body were significantly reduced.Finally,the structural and kinematic characteristics of the tire were analyzed.According to the structure of the suspended monorail,the vibration performance of the single tire after the rupture of the safety wheel was analyzed.By simulating the vertical vibration performance of vehicles with different speeds in normal driving,safety wheel running without active suspension system and safety wheel with active suspension system,The simulation test showed that the active suspension system could significantly improve the stability and comfort of the suspended monorail vehicle driven by the safety wheel.
