Chongqing is unique because of its landscape.However,its transportation development lags behind due to poor geographical environment.Chongqing will complete the construction of high-speed rail network which looks like the Chinese character “米” by 2024 according to the "13th Five-Year Plan".By that time,urban construction based on high-speed rail stations will also be gradually carried out in several cities in Chongqing.High-speed rail stations will also have a significant impact on the development of small and medium cities in Chongqing.Along with the development of urbanization,more and more people will gather in the new area built in front of the small and medium-sized high-speed railway station.The new urban area in front of the high-speed rail station will face the problem of urban industrial,transportation,the population and cultural.How to use the opportunity of high-speed rail station construction to guide reasonably the development of the urban area where the hub station is located has become the key research content of urban design in front of the small and medium-sized high-speed rail stations in Chongqing.This article focuses on urban design strategies in the front area of stations of small and medium-sized high-speed railway stations in Chongqing.Based on the analysis and discussion of the completed and planned cases in Chongqing,the paper analyzes and discusses the design strategy of the new city design in the high-speed rail area under the background of Chongqing mountain city.Through the development of macro urban agglomerations,public policy research,urban development factors and the impact of mountain environmental matrix on the construction of high-speed rail new towns,this article discusses the relationship between urban design and urban development in high-speed railway station areas.Based on the urban development theory of the small and medium-sized high-speed railway station,through the in-depth study of the macro,meso and micro levels of the high-speed railway station front area,the paper explores the law and development mode of the urban development of the small and medium-sized high-speed railway station in the mountain area.The thesis is divided into six parts.Based on the research background and research significance,the first part defines the relevant concepts and research framework combined with the relevant research theory.The second part summarizes the development of Chongqing high-speed railway station and the development of high-speed railway station area based on the field research,and then discusses the factors affecting the pre-development of the front area of high-speed railway station such as economic impact,superior planning,urban economic culture and environment of the urban agglomerations.The third part discusses the law and method of urban design under different mode,combining the analysis of the foreign excellent practice cases and domestic design cases.The fourth part analyzes the urban design and design strategy of the high-speed railway station from the perspective of urban design.The macro level mainly discusses the urban development direction of the small and medium-sized high-speed railway station front area in the regional urban space.The second level conducts strategic research on land development,functional positioning,transportation organization,and spatial configuration design in front of small and medium-sized high-speed railway stations.The third level mainly proposes leading standards for urban spatial layout,urban style and public space.The fifth part is based on the summary of the above-mentioned laws,combined with the case design research.Based on the research above,the sixth part draws the main conclusions,deficiencies and prospects of the paper.
