| When the engine cylinder head is face-milled,some of the chips will fly into the water jacket,causing chipping.The water jacket is the passage for the engine coolant to circulate,and the residual debris in the coolant causes poorly circulation of coolant,causing an abnormal temperature rise of the engine,which poses a safety hazard to the service of the engine.In addition,the burrs at the intersecting holes of the cylinder head oil channel are difficult to remove effectively,and the residual burrs may affect the cleanliness of the oil passage and increase the wear of the components.Based on this,taking a certain type of engine cylinder head as research object,on the one hand,the paper studies the influence of cutting parameters on the chip size,and changes the cutting parameters to actively control the chip size,which is beneficial to the subsequent cleaning process.On the other hand,CFD simulation optimizes the cleaning process so that the chips can be carried away more smoothly by the cleaning solution.For the problem that the burr of the oil passage intersecting hole is difficult to remove and detect,on the one hand,the influence of cutting parameters on the size of the burr is studied,and the model of cutting parameters and burr size is established.On the other hand,the finite element simulation analysis is used to determine the maximum burr size that can be removed under different loads,and then the appropriate processing interval can be determined based on the size of the burr that can be removed under the rated load.Firstly,through face-milling experiment under variable cutting parameter,a mathematical model of chip size based on cutting parameters is established.According to the residual chip size of the cleaning test,the easy-to-clean chip size(chip width,curl radius)is prepared,and then optimized according to the contour map.A suitable processing parameter interval has been produced.Secondly,the cleaning process simulation study was carried out by ANSYS Fluent module,fluid velocity,wall pressure and total pressure of the basin were explored under different cleaning schemes(single inlet,combined inlet),and better cleaning schemes were selected,these verified experiments were carried out in Lingang and the simulation results are in good agreement with the experiment.Then,through the variable parameter drilling experiment,a mathematical model between the cutting parameters and the burr size is established.Afterwards,the formation mechanism of the intersecting hole burrs was illustrated by AdvantEdge simulation.Finally,based on the ABAQUS simulation analysis,the maximum size of the burr can be removed under different high pressure water jet loads.Therefore,the maximum size of the burr that can be removed under the rated load can be known,and then according to the previously established mathematical model about burr size and processing parameters,appropriate cutting parameter interval can be calculated.Cutting parameters in this interval ensures that the subsequent high-pressure water jet cleaning process can effectively remove the intersecting hole burrs. |
