Research On The Employment Quality And Influencing Factors Of Migrant Workers In Baoding Construction Industry

The 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward the new goal of "achieving higher quality and full employment".As an important industry of the national economy,the construction industry has developed rapidly,providing a great amount of jobs for the society and becoming an important force to stabilize employment.At the same time,as an important part of migrant workers,the proportion of migrant workers in the construction industry is 18.6%.The level of their employment quality directly determines the employment quality of the whole labor market.Therefore,improving the employment quality of migrant workers in the construction industry is very important for "stabilizing the economy and society".Based on consulting and reading a large number of domestic and foreign literature about the quality of employment,this paper used human capital theory,social capital theory and Maslow's demand theory to select four major indicators of "labor relations,work stability,work status and salary status" as the measurement indicators of the quality of employment of rural migrant workers in the construction industry.Taking the current situation of employment quality of migrant workers in construction industry of Baoding City as the research object,this paper studied the current situation of employment quality of migrant workers in construction industry of Baoding city by using both online questionnaire survey and on-site questionnaire survey,then calculated the index weight by using factor analysis method and converted it into the standard score.After that,the comprehensive score of employment quality was obtained,the results showed that the employment quality of migrant workers in construction industry of Baoding city is common,which is on the low side.By using the method of ordered logistic regression to analyze the influence factors of the employment quality of migrant workers in Baoding construction industry,it is found that labor relations,work stability,work condition and salary condition all have significant influence on the employment quality of migrant workers in Baoding construction industry,especially the salary condition,employment prospect and labor contract have larger influence on the employment quality.Finally,based on the three different perspectives of the government,enterprises and the construction industry of migrant workers themselves,this paper suggestedthe relevant countermeasures to improve the employment quality of migrant workers in Baoding construction industry,and established a continuous guarantee mechanism of information early warning,employment capacity improvement and employment rights and interests protection..Through the research on the current situation and influence factors of the employment quality of migrant workers in Baoding construction industry,it is hoped to provide references for improving their employment quality and achieve higher quality employment as soon as possible.
