Study On The Integration Strategy For Public Space In The Historic Centre Of Macao Based On Greenway Theory

The construction of historic urban area has been controversial a both at home and abroad,and it is also an inevitable contradiction under the advancement of economic development and urbanization.This is not only the result of the interaction of economic,social,political,historical and cultural factors,but also closely related to the allocation of urban public space resources.Therefore,this paper takes the public space as the entry point and selects the Historic Centre of Macao with unique protection value as a case study.In the view of the greenway planning theory,it will combine the protection of the Historic Centre of Macao and the continuation of the characteristics of the public space elements with the needs of public recreation,providing new protection and development ideas for the Historic Centre of Macao.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:Chapter ? Introduction,explains the research background,significance and the connotation of the related core concepts.Then,it introduces the scope and objects of the study,namely the the Historic Centre of Macao and the public space of the Historic Centre of Macao.Then,establishes the research framework through the research methods of theory,investigation and examples.Chapter ? Theoretical Research,which reviews the evolution of the theoretical and practical research in the related fields of this subject.O n the basis of summarizing the research status,the necessity of this research is pointed out,and some similar cases are analyzed.Chapter ? Investigation and Research,summarizes the basic situation of the location,history and planning of the Historic Centre of Macao,discusses the various elements of its public space and its characteristics,and analyzes the problems existing in the inductive appearance.Chapter ? Reasoning and Argumentation,discusses the significance of this topic,and then,the feasibility of this topic is discussed in terms of theoretical foundation,morphological foundation and social foundation.The basic principle of green space theory guiding the integration of public space in the Historic Centre of Macao is further proposed.Chapter ? Application Practice,based on the above work,a research model of public space integration in historical urban area based on greenway theory is proposed.Subsequently,this model was used to explore the practice of the Historic Centre of Macao,and five strategies were proposed in a targeted manner,thus forming a three-dimensional integration system.Finally,based on the previous discussion,the research results and innovations of this paper are summarized.At the same time,the future research direction of this topic is proposed based on the inadequacies.Advocate the combination of greenway theory to re-reflect and re-cognize the essential characteristics of public space integration and historical urban transformation and the relationship betw een the two.Furthermore,by integrating the various elements of the public space to create a public space network,we can create a public space network,and promote the development of the theory and practice of public space planning and design in the trad itional methods of protection and renewal of historic urban areas.
