| Compared with the conventional reciprocating diesel engine,the diesel rotary engine has the advantages of simple structure,small volume,light weight,high power density and high rotation speed.It’s widely used in the occasions where the volume and weight requirements are very strict,such as small generators used in military special vehicles and weapon systems,light aircraft,small ships and other fields.It is of great significance to study and develop a special electronic control system for diesel rotary engine,which can give full play to the unique advantages and potential of diesel rotary engine and promote the development and further research in our country.Based on the unique characteristics of diesel rotary engine,this paper designs a special electronic control unit with high pressure common rail fuel system.It adopts hardware and software architecture which can be easily extended and upgraded and can meet the requirements of multi-cylinder diesel engine running at the same time.The electronic control system has been tested in the bench and achieves the goal which makes a single-cylinder rotary engine(displacement 560cc)power up to 100 kW.Based on the study of the principle and characteristics of diesel engine electronic control technology and the structure and operation characteristics of diesel rotary engine,the function and performance index of electronic control system are studied.The overall design scheme of electronic control system is put forward and the specific scheme of electronic control module such as oil supply,ignition and in-cylinder lubrication system is determined.Then,this paper introduces the development of electronic control unit of three core modules in the system.First of all,it’s the part of the control sequence of the software which is the most basic and core: according to the unique structure of the diesel rotary engine this paper determined the location of the engine identification method,on this basis,the control of fuel injection and ignition timing is analyzed and studied in detail using ECT module of the MCU,and then gives a software control algorithm.Secondly,it is the development of high-pressure common rail system’s electronic control module: based on double-valve structure the paper designed a two-stage rail pressure control strategy,and developed a new injector drive unit using the MC33816 intelligent chip to achieve accurate control of rail pressure and the ideal Peak & Hold drive current waveform.Lastly,it’s the design of the electronic control module of the in-cylinder lubrication of the rotary engine: this paper designed the closed-loop control algorithm and at the software level realized the initialization,status monitoring and fault protection and other rich features around the metering oil pump.This paper sets up a good platform for the successful application of high pressure common rail technology and further research in combustion organization and other aspects of diesel rotary engine. |
