As railway administrations,factories,mines,and supporting the use of urban rail transit shunting machine,normal operation and production equipment is guaranteed.Serving diesel shunting machine discharge into the atmosphere every year a large number of flue gas.Market needing shunting machine of new type of energy conservation and environmental protection.With the new breakthrough in super capacitor core technology,the super capacitor has been successfully applied to the trams,double source system of electric locomotive,the hybrid dynamic shunting machines,and other areas of the rail transit,a new type of super capacitance shunting the same shunting machine research and development direction in the future.Therefore,this paper based on cargo coaling station shunting operation as a case study design a meeting the station shunting machine running ability of super capacitance shunting,designing for vehicle traction electric drive system,and its feasibility is verified by simulation and experiment.Designing of the traction electric drive system,the following work is completed :first,analyzing the certain freight coaling station line condition and shunting machine operating conditions,using traction simulation to estimate the vehicle capacity of super capacitor energy storage device,the super capacitor monomer composition of series-parallel module of super capacitor,the mathematical model of the super capacitor energy storage system is geted.Then using the ADVISOR software analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of various vehicles topology,and according to requirements and actual situation of super capacitance shunting machine topology,switching machine super super capacitor power system,structural performance parameters of the electric drive system are determined.Finally to the overall modeling of super capacitance shunting machine,including the vehicle dynamics model,automatic charging model,super capacitor model and motor model,on the basis of set up relative perfect model for the simulation analysis,then further by ADVISOR software simulation to verify the rationality of the design.
