At present,the six-axle electric locomotives such as HXD3C,HXD1D and HXD3D are mainly used for passenger electric locomotives in China.Compared with traditional DC electric locomotives,they have made considerable progress in adhesion performance,traction power,starting traction force and so on.AC drive technology has shown great economic and technological advantages.However,the existing six-axle passenger electric locomotives can not fully meet the transportation requirements in Western China,where there are many mountainous areas,large ramps and many curves.The existing eight-axle electric locomotive owners are mainly assumed by SS4G,HXDI,HXD2 and other three.types of electric locomotives,but they are all freight electric locomotives,so it is urgent to design an eight-axle passenger electric locomotive suitable for the central and western regions of China.Firstly,the characteristics of eight-axle AC drive fast passenger electric locomotive are analyzed and the key parameters of the electric system are designed.Then,taking the eight-axle AC drive fast passenger electric locomotive as the research object,this paper puts forward the electric system scheme of electric locomotive which is suitable for the operation environment of the western railway,including the high-voltage system on the grid side,the main transmission system,the auxiliary system and the control system.On the premise of analyzing the principle,component composition and current supply mode of high voltage system of electric locomotive,the scheme design of network side high voltage system,network side detection and protection circuit of s-axis AC drive fast passenger locomotive is carried out.In the main transmission system of existing HXDI and HXD2 locomotives,the AC-DC scheme with asynchronous motor traction is adopted.The design of main transmission system and auxiliary system is based on the mature and stable system design of HXD3 series locomotives.The circuit schemes of traction motor single axle control,single section four main transmission system loops and two auxiliary system loops are completely independent of each other,which ensures the redundancy and high adhesion performance of locomotives.Eight-axle AC drive fast passenger electric locomotive specially designed train supply management cabinet to realize the management of train power supply and the function of communication with locomotive.The power unit of train power supply adopts four-quadrant rectification control technology and is integrated in traction converter.The computer network control system for eight-axle AC drive fast passenger electric locomotive is an on-board network control system based on TCN intermational standard.The computer control system is used to realize networking and modularization,so that the locomotive has the functions of control,diagnosis,detection,transmission,display and storage.Locomotive TCN control network is divided into two levels:train level and vehicle level.It has functions of communication,control,fault diagnosis and dynamic redundancy.The traction/braking characteristics,vehicle efficiency,power factor and other parameters of the fast passenger electric locomotive are tested in the test.The test results verify the feasibility of the scheme.
