Research On Roof Greening Of Public Buildings In Northern China

With the continuous development of urbanization in China,public construction land occupies a higher proportion of the total construction land area in China.Urban population and urban residential land in China is increasing year by year which will inevitably lead to the relative reduction of urban green land and uneven distribution of resources,and the contradiction between green land and construction land will become increasingly apparent.As the largest three-dimensional structure in the urban environment,architecture provides a broad spatial basis for roof greening and vertical greening.At this time,roof greening conforms to the development of the historical era,so the study of roof greening has gradually been attached importance to.The main research direction of this paper is to explore ways of constructing the green roof with realistic significance using public buildings in the north of China.Firstly,the paper summarizes the existing research results and historical development of the subject to understand the subject attributes of roof greening and the related disciplines,and analyzes the difficulties of building roof greening in the northern area.According to the function of different types of landscape elements in landscape design,this paper combines it with the special environment of public building roof and classifies it.This paper adopted the design theory from generality to individuality to improve the feasibility of landscape design in roof greening.In this paper,the roof of public buildings is taken as the research object,and an example of roof garden construction of existing public buildings in the north and south of China is analyzed.According to the cold weather characteristics of winter and the characteristics of different plants in the northern region,we try to change the disadvantageous conditions and to puts forward the principle and method which is beneficial to the existence of four seasons in the roof garden and provides a theoretical reference for the landscape construction on the roof.It is hoped that it will be helpful to the continuous development of roof greening and the improvement of urban ecological environment in north China.
