Research On Settlement Calculation Method And Numerical Simulation Of Large Pile Foundations For LNG Tanks

As a clean and efficient energy source,natural gas can reduce environmental pollution.But important parts of LNG utilization:the construction of LNG storage tanks and the long-term service performance of storage tank are few reports.The foundation as an important part of designing LNG storage tank.If the foundation deforms too much,it will bring disaster to the entire structure.The establishment of a set of reliable and suitable for large-scale LNG storage tank pile foundation settlement calculation method provides important theoretical basis for the perfection and improvement of LNG storage tank foundation design,which is of great significance for ensuring store LNG safely and sustainable developing and utilization of national energy.In this paper,by combining engineering examples and using PLAXIS 3D geotechnical finite element software,researching the pile foundation settlement problem of large-scale LNG storage tank,and the calculation method for the pile foundations settlement of large-scale LNG storage tank is established.The specific work of this article is as follows:(1)Obtaining the field measured data of the foundation by monitoring the foundation deformation of an active soft soil LNG storage tank(2)3D numerical simulation analysis is conducted on the actual storage tank foundation.Inversion parameters are simulated by single pile numerical simulation,and force distribution of single pile is obtained.Then,numerical simulation of pile group is conducted based on the measured data to obtain the stress mechanism of pile group and compare with single pile.It provides a basis for the settlement calculation method suitable for LNG storage tank foundation.(3)Combined with the actual monitoring data and the results of numerical simulations,a calculation method suitable for settlement of the pile group foundation of a large LNG storage tank is proposed.After the amendment,a calculation model and theoretical calculation method for the settlement of the LNG storage tank pile group foundation in the loess region of Qinghai Province are proposed.
