Study On The Spatial Distribution And Protection And Development Strategy Of Traditional Villages In Jiangxi Province

Traditional villages are the living carrier of the Chinese farming civilization.They have preserved and inherited traditional Chinese culture and have multiple values in history,culture,society,and economy.With the development of urbanization in China,more and more traditional villages are declining,causing irreparable damage to farming culture,and the protection of traditional villages is imminent.Therefore,in 2012,the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and other ministries and commissions jointly launched a survey of traditional villages and issued guidance on the protection of traditional villages,established a database of traditional Chinese villages,and focused on the protection of traditional villages in the database.In this context,this article takes 343 national villages in Jiangxi Province as the research object,and uses theories of settlement geography,human-land relations,and sustainable development as the theoretical basis.It analyzes the characteristics of spatial distribution,influencing factors,and protection and development strategies.Three aspects of the study of traditional villages in Jiangxi Province.This paper first obtains the coordinates of traditional villages through Google Earth and Baidu maps,explores the spatial distribution of traditional villages based on ArcGIS and mathematical methods,and quantitatively analyzes the influencing factors of traditional villages spatial distribution from both natural and human factors.Based on this,the traditional villages are classified,and combined with the influencing factors of traditional villages,specific strategies for their protection and development are proposed.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The spatial distribution type of traditional villages in Jiangxi Province is agglomeration type;there are three obvious gathering areas in the traditional village spatial distribution,Fuzhou-Jinxi,Shangrao-Wuyuan and central Ji'an,the core-marginal distribution pattern is more obvious;from the geographical scale,traditional villages are unevenly distributed in the three geographical regions of Jiangxi Province.The trend is mainly concentrated in the areas of Ganzhong(48.98%)and Ganbei(36.15%);from the perspective of city scale,the distribution of traditional villages is concentrated,mainlyconcentrated in Ji'an,Fuzhou,Shangrao and Ganzhou.(2)The spatial distribution of traditional villages is mainly affected by natural factors,mainly distributed in plains and hilly areas with close terrain and close to water sources;the spatial distribution of traditional villages is closely related to human factors,most of which are distributed in areas with poor economic development and unique areas.Culture,less convenient transportation and areas with low population density.(3)According to the altitude elevation,the traditional villages in Jiangxi Province are divided into three types:plain villages,hilly villages and mountain-type villages.On this basis,they are subdivided into traditional villages around the city,traditional villages around the township and natural environment.Eight types of villages,such as surrounding traditional villages,have proposed corresponding protection and development for different types of traditional villages.(4)Following the general principles of protection and development,focus on the development of traditional villages around the city,the protection of traditional villages around mountains and natural environments,and the serial development of traditional villages in three major clusters and four cultural districts.
