As the world energy problem becomes more and more serious,the research on energy consumption,especially on building energy consumption,has become a common topic in the world.At present,there have been abundant researches on building energy consumption,and a lot of researches have been made on building structural forms,new components,new materials and making full use of new energy.However,there is a lack of research on the influence of building orientation on energy consumption.Further research on the relationship between building orientation and energy consumption can promote the refinement and development of building energy conservation design theory and building energy conservation design standards,and better control of building energy consumption at the stage of building scheme.This article first to the layout of the residential buildings in xi 'an region toward characteristics and energy saving information for statistical investigation,to extract the meteorological factors such as solar radiation has influence on the building energy consumption effect of the building,building orientation,layout design parameters and the structure of the enclosure structure,analysis of the characteristics of building energy efficiency design in xi' an region.Secondly,through the comparative analysis of the current mainstream energy consumption simulation software,the Design Builder software was selected to simulate the relationship between residential building orientation and energy consumption.Combined with the characteristics of the software,boundary conditions and simulation methods of energy consumption model are determined.Then,taking residential building orientations and envelope structures with different energy saving standards as variables,energy consumption simulation experiments were carried out.By means of statistical method,regression analysis of simulation conclusion and variance analysis of each variable are carried out to obtain the change trend of building energy consumption with the change of energy saving standard,the influence degree on energy consumption and the quantitative relationship with energy consumption.Finally,according to the investigation results,8 different plane shapes were selected and the energy consumption of residential buildings with these 8 plane shapes in different orientations was simulated one by one.The relationship between different plane shapes,orientations and energy consumption is analyzed and summarized by data statistics method,so as to obtain the law and trend of overall change,and further explain the relationship between residential building orientations and energy consumption from a more diversified perspective.It provides a reference for the energy saving design of the new residential building.
