The important concept of production line balance is used in the production line reorganization and optimization and the enterprise production facility planning.Production line balance is to average all the production processes and adjust the load of each workstation to ensure that the operation time of each workstation is as close as possible.The purpose is to eliminate the waste of bottleneck station and production efficiency and improve the overall production efficiency of the production line to bring more benefits to the enterprise.Unbalanced production line will lead to the phenomenon of waiting for workers,and will also reduce the overall production efficiency and wip accumulation,resulting in a large amount of production waste.In order to solve the problem caused by unbalanced production line,this paper mainly studies from the following aspects: unbalanced production line will lead to the phenomenon of waiting for workers,will also reduce the overall production efficiency and wip accumulation,resulting in a large number of production waste.In order to solve the problem caused by unbalanced production line,this paper mainly studies from the following aspects:Firstly,two kinds of typical production line balance problems are solved,one is the balance problem of single variety production line,the other is the balance problem of mixed variety production line.After summarizing the research status of simulation and solution of production line equilibrium,the improved genetic algorithm was combined with simulation analysis method to optimize the production line and solve the minimum number of workstations on the premise of determining the production beat.The method is applied to the actual production line model and a good result is obtained.Secondly,in the early stage,the traditional genetic algorithm is particularly prone to the problem of "precocity",and the population is prone to the emergence of super individuals with high adaptive value,which occupies a large proportion in the genetic evolution,so that the population diversity rapidly decreases,and the algorithm converges to the local optimal solution.The improved design of the traditional genetic algorithm includes coding design,fitness function design,selection and mutation operation design,etc.The improved genetic algorithm is programmed by Matlab,and the results show that the improved genetic algorithm can find the global optimal solution well.Finally,the balance of mixed production lines is more difficult because of the interaction between different varieties.Therefore,according to the comprehensive job sequence diagram of each product and the average time of each job task of different products,the fitness function is scaled and designed on the basis of the improved genetic algorithm.The goal is to optimize the average work time of each workstation and keep the average load of each workstation balanced.Then,Plant Simulation software was used to conduct modeling and Simulation from the instantaneous load balance of the production line.The Simulation results were compared and analyzed for the instantaneous load value of the workstation under different conditions.The optimal solution is found by synthesizing the two indexes of average load balance and instantaneous load balance.
