In order to meet the requirements of new-type urbanization,rural revitalization and land space planning,it is necessary to build a reasonable urban-rural bus network,comprehensively considering the travel demand and development basis.This study has an important theoretical value and practical significance for improving the service of urban-rural bus,urban-rural integration and equalization of basic public services.The thesis analyzes the development environment and passenger characteristics of urbanrural bus.Urbanization,urban space expansion,high-speed rail and ‘Four-Good Rural Road' construction,etc.put forward higher requirements and better foundation.This thesis studies the evolution forms of urban-rural bus,and compares the characteristics of urban-rural bus,urban bus and rural public transportation in terms of line length,non-linear coefficient,average running speed,departure interval and station spacing.According to the travel purpose,mode,time and space distribution,characteristics of urban-rural bus passengers are revealed.In response to the new-type urbanization essential concepts of people-oriented and equitable development,index of urban-rural bus network planning with accessibility as the key indicator are proposed.Constructed from levels of bus stops and network,urban-rural accessibility correspond to the two main stages of passenger travel chains,including accessing bus service and enjoying service results.Based on GIS and multi-source data fusion technology,accessibility models are proposed considering actual routes.The thesis puts forward the structure of county urban-rural bus network and its integrated connecting mode,including network levels,organization and connecting forms.Urban-rural bus network is divided into fast bus,trunk bus and branch bus.Central functions of each layer are clarified.The principle of comparison between hub-spoke network and diametrical network are given.Hubs are divided into county integrated hubs,urban-rural public transportation hubs,town public transportation hubs.When organizing bus lines by district,implementation conditions and specific organizational modes are analyzed.According to the planning idea of ‘connecting hub,generating line by line,optimizing into network',a new planning method of urban-rural bus network is put forward.Indicators of opportunity accessibility and topology characteristics are introduced in the importance evaluation model of nodes,to comprehensively consider socio-economic attributes and roles of nodes in the network.Nodes are graded according to their importance as the main basis of hub layout.Based on the single gravity method,a specific hierarchical location model of hubs with the largest travel demand coverage and urban bus stop accessibility is constructed.The network planning methods of urban-rural fast and trunk bus are based on the shortest path method and maximizing opportunity accessibility respectively.The branch network planning methods based on the minimum spanning tree and the shortest Hamilton path methods are proposed.Finally,the thesis takes Gaoping,Shanxi Province as an example to verify the validity of the methods.
