Comparative Study On Memorial Space Of Ancient Capital Cities

Commemorative space is a place in the city with commemorative function,it is not only the material space to carry people’s commemorative activities,but also represents the spiritual symbol of urban memory and national civilization.The ancient capital is the master of the city memorial space,has accumulated the traditional construction wisdom and the city memorial space planning advanced experience,the capital city is the highest form of urban civilization,not only has a large number of commemorative space remains,its type and spiritual carrying is also very representative.However,the lack of construction of urban memorial space system by reality research makes people’s research on urban memorial space not deep enough,which leads to the weak consciousness of urban memorial space protection,and some important historical sites are encroached upon and dismantled.Based on this,the purpose of this paper is to provide reference and enlightenment for the protection and development of Chinese urban memorial space by systematically combing and studying the urban memorial space of the ancient capital city of China.Through field investigation and literature combing,combined with quantitative and qualitative research methods,this paper first expounds the concept,traceability,classification and characteristics of urban memorial space,and secondly,introduces the urban background of four ancient capital cities in Beijing,Xi ’ an,Nanjing and Hangzhou,and combs the historical evolution of urban memorial space in four cities.This paper discusses the commemorative theme of the city memorial space in four cities,and classifies the urban memorial space of four cities according to the macroscopic-mesoscopic-microscopic three levels: the macroscopic level analyzes and compares the distribution characteristics,spatial structure and quantity characteristics of the urban memorial space from the perspective of the city;the mesoscopic level from the perspective of the area,this paper selects the most representative memorial space block in the city,analyzes and compares the scale of land use and the theme of remembrance,and selects the most representative commemorative space in the city from the concrete memorial place,and analyzes and compares the spatial characteristics and architectural characteristics.Finally,combined with the conclusion of the analysis,in view of the problems encountered in the urban memorial space at the present stage,this paper puts forward the method of the memorial space inheritance of the ancient capital city: Continuing the spatial pattern of urban memorial,combing the urban memorial space gene,creating the urban space place,highlighting the theme of urban memorial space,constructing professional database,unified scientific management Increase publicity efforts.
