At present,the lack of leading talents in high-level engineering technology is an important factor that restricts the Chinese enterprises' innovation capability,industrialization process and international competitiveness.Training a group of high-level engineering and technology leading talents is a major and urgent strategic task that China's higher engineering education is facing.The purpose of setting up a Ph.D.in engineering is to adapt to the needs of high-level engineering and technical personnel,especially high-end talents who can play a leading role in the construction of innovative countries,and to improve the training system for Chinese engineering and technical personnel.The purpose of setting up a Ph.D.in engineering is to adapt to the needs of high-level engineering and technical personnel,especially high-end talents who can play a leading role in the construction of innovative countries,and to improve the training system for Chinese engineering and technical personnel.Therefore,the exploration of engineering doctoral training mode with XX University as a case is of great significance and value for promoting the improvement of the quality of engineering doctoral training in China.According to the research object and research objectives,first of all,clearly define the two core concepts of engineering doctors and engineering doctor training models and sorting out relevant research results.Under the guidance of the theory of cognitive development,the theory of knowledge production model and the concept of education of large engineering concept,forming the overall framework and technical route of the research and clarifying the principles of case selection.Secondly,explore the status quo of engineering doctoral training mode of XX University from the three dimensions of top-level design,college training program and college training practice.Based on the analysis of the status quo,and from the four dimensions of training target orientation,training process,training effectiveness and security system,the problems existing in the engineering doctor training model of XX University are analyzed.Then,further analyze the reasons from the dimensions of the national level,the college level,and the engineering doctor level.Finally,based on the analysis of the status quo,problems and their causes,the optimization strategies are proposed from the three dimensions of training target orientation,training process and security system,namely,optimize the Ph.D.training goal orientation from three aspects of accurately locating the doctoral nature of the project,clarifying the principle of determining the training objectives,and appropriately reducing the cultivate target positioning,optimizing the engineering doctoral training process from four aspects of optimizing the student selection mechanism,perfecting the multi-curricular curriculum system,improving the school-enterprise collaborative training mechanism,and giving full play to the role of scientific research projects,and improving the guarantee system of engineering doctoral training mode from four aspects of building a university alliance information platform,constructing a good institutional environment in which multiple entities actively participate,improving the funding mechanism for engineering doctoral training,and establishing a mechanism for evaluating doctoral training.
