Research On EPC Project Quality Control Of ZM Company

With the booming development of China’s project contracting market,the project contracting mode also presents diversified characteristics.EPC mode stands out am ong many contracting modes due to its advantages of centralized and coordinated management,and is being vigorously promoted in China.Design,as the core stage of EPC project,is a crucial factor to determine the quality of the whole project.The EPC project contract mode based on design institute is more and more recognized.As a professional design institute,ZM company seizes the development opportunity and successfully enters the field of general project contracting.However,as a traditional design institute,ZM company is at a disadvantage in the quality managemen t of the whole construction process of large-scale engineering projects.In particular,with the continucus development of the company,the scale of EPC projects contracted is getting larger and larger,and the construction process is becoming more and more complex.How ZM company can effectively control the quality of highly complex engineering construction projects and ensure the quality of EPC projects to meet the needs of the owners has become an urgent problem for ZM company to solve.From the perspective of the analysis of the main points of quality control in the construction of EPC en gineering project and the optimization of quality control process,this paper studied the ways of ZM company to improve the quality of EPC project.On the basis of summarizing the research status of quality control theory,quality control points and BPI theory at home and abroad,this paper expounds the concept and characteristics of EPC project general contract,divides the construction process of EPC project from the perspective of EPC project general contractor,and expounds the concept and characteristics of project quality management under EPC mode.Secondly,through on-the-spot investigation to ZM company,the paper analyzes the current situation and problems existing in EPC project quality control of ZM company,and finds that the main problems lie in two aspects:unclear main points of quality control and extensive quality control process;then,in view of the unclear key points of EPC project quality control of ZM company,literature analysis and on-the-spot interview are adopted The main points of EPC project quality control of ZM company are identified and 21 quality control points are obtained.The principal component factors are extracted by principal component analysis,and the weight of each quality control point on its principal component and the weight of each principal component are calculated.Finally,in view of the shortcomings of EPC project quality control process of ZM company,based on the theory of process optimization,combined with the identification results of EPC project quality control points of ZM company,the quality control process of key quality control points in EPC project planning process,design process,procurement process,construction process and closing process is improved,and put forward several guarantee measures to improve the effectiveness of project quality control.
