Research On Renewal Design Of Old Campus In Local Universities Based On Functional Replacement

As the carrier of disseminating knowledge and culture,the old campus of colleges and universities has important historical and cultural values for its preservation.With the relocation of many colleges and universities to the new campus,some universities face difficulties such as the use and management of multiple campuses in the disposal or use of the old campus.The old campuses of many local universities are facing idleness and abandonment after the overall relocation.Or the fate of dismantling.Some old campuses with quaint features,strong cultural atmosphere,complete architectural functions,and complete campus facilities have undergone functional replacement and renewal,so that they can continue to exert their value with new functions,and preserve,optimize and integrate urban spaces in the old campus.Resources and promoting urban renewal are of great significance.This article is based on a large number of local general colleges that have been idle after the entire relocation,and adopts research methods such as literature research,field research and design practice.By investigating the status quo,the problems existing in the current use of the old campus of the university and the advantages and related influencing factors of using the functional replacement as the old campus of the university are summarized and analyzed.The old campus of the university includes more than just teaching purposes.Kind of possible.And the universal design of the renewal design strategy of the park after its function replacement is studied.Finally,the old campus of Hebei Engineering University was updated and designed.It is hoped that this research can provide reference and reference for the functional transformation and utilization of idle campuses in the future.The main contents are as follows:The first chapter introduces the research background,research purpose and significance of the thesis.After combing the current research status at home and abroad,the research contents and methods of the thesis are clarified,and the framework of the thesis is constructed.Chapter 2: Research on the related theories and current status of the old campus.First,the related concepts and the basic theories involved are summarized.Then the problems existing in the disposal and utilization of the old campus of colleges and universities are summarized through investigation and analysis,and the advantages and related influencing factors of functional replacement as the old campus of colleges and universities are analyzed.Chapter 3: Selection and analysis of the replacement model.The feasibility and related ideas of several models of function replacement and reuse of the old campus are discussed.Chapter 4: Update Strategy.This article discusses the update design strategy of the old campus after the functional replacement from the aspects of previous investigation and evaluation,campus disposal methods,park overall planning,architecture,landscape,and other aspects,and puts forward some general update strategies and suggestions.The fifth chapter is the practical research of case design.After the overall relocation,Hebei Engineering University's idle old campus was redesigned based on functional replacement.It was verified with the functional replacement theory and update strategy involved in the article.It also deepened the research theme and hoped to provide references for related projects.
