| With the development of Internet of Things communication technology and the improvement of data transmission requirements of smart ships,wireless communication technology is gradually used in ship cabin communication systems.With the improvement of the reliability of wireless data transmission,the possibility of the wireless communication system becoming the mainstream communication system in the ship’s engine room has greatly increased.Due to the increase in the number of reflections,diffraction and transmission of radio waves during transmission in the ship’s steel engine room environment,the amplitude of wireless signal fading is increased,and the radio wave propagation characteristics of the ship’s engine room are very large compared with open areas difference.In order to further improve the reliability of the data transmission of the ship’s wireless communication system and improve the transmission capacity of the wireless signal,it is necessary to study the transmission characteristics of radio waves in the ship’s steel engine room environment.This thesis studied the propagation characteristics of radio waves in the ship’s engine room through simulation analysis and actual measurement.By simulated the transmission of wireless signals in the steel ship engine room environment,the propagation characteristics of the radio wave based on the 2.4GHz frequency band in the engine room stairwell and the closed cabin open signal transmission channel are studied.Experiments of wireless signal transmission characteristics based on ZigBee technology were carried out in the engine room area of the actual ship and between different compartments,combined with comparative analysis of measured and simulated results.By studied the propagation characteristics of radio waves in the ship’s engine room area,two network architectures are proposed,which are the whole ship’s wireless ad-hoc network and the wired backbone network combined with the wireless local area network,to provided targeted solutions for improving the reliability of the ship’s engine room wireless data transmission.The research of ship wireless communication system in this paper can provide a theoretical basis for the design and optimization of ship engine room communication system,and provide a reference direction for the realization of intelligent and modern ship communication and the transformation of old ship engine room. |
