The manufacturing industry is one of the most important part in the scope of substantial economy and national economy.After 70 years since the founding of New China,it becoming from a poor agricultural country to a big country of industrial manufacturing.The product output mode of manufacturing enterprises is also continuously improving.From the sale way of foreign technical products to OEM,and now develop to self-technological innovation and industrial development,it is showed that Chinese manufacturing industry is becoming better and stronger,and keeping forward to world’s leading goal.However,for a long time,the products and production levels of Chinese enterprises are always at the low end of the industrial value chain and do not occupy the core competitive advantage of the value chain.And low-end manufacturing industry is often overcapacity and thin profits,which is easily be replaced by foreign manufacturers.With the rapid development of the Industrial Internet,5G technology,and artificial intelligence technology,the manufacturing industry is not only the traditional manufacturing.With the changes in manufacturing processes,products,and services,it will affect the industrial form and business model of enterprise development,and will brings new empowerment and innovation to the manufacturing industry.This article is based on an in-depth investigation of Company T,a local private manufacturing company in Jiangxi Province.Through using case study method to describe the company’s entrepreneurial development process,analyze the role of technical capabilities in its development process,to research how the company can achieve transformation and improve its own technical capabilities.Company T is a local manufacturing enterprise in Jiangxi.It has been established for more than 30 years.Through several developments and changes,it has grown from a technical service company to a brand influenced industry leader.This is related to the continuous strengthening of T Company’s own R&D technology capability in the development process.Through researching the development history of company T,we can use company T as an example to understand the impact of the technological catch-up path of manufacturing companies and the improvement of technological capabilities on the company’s development.I hope it can be used as a reference for the technological change and development of Chinese manufacturing companies,and can provide inspiration for the development of Chinese manufacturing enterprises.The main body of the case describes the development background,development situation,construction process of the company’s technical capabilities,main business and products of the company T objectively,and proposes to seek development breakthroughs again after 30 years since it established.The case choose entrepreneurial process,the corporate market competition environment,the technology catch-up process in the enterprise development process,and the changes in the business model of the enterprise these four aspects to analysis in order to study the changes between product technology and Synergistic relationship in enterprise development and the process of enterprise development,and then based on the current development background and the development trend of T company’s transition from manufacturing to intelligent manufacturing,the company’s theoretical tools such as life cycle theory,value chain analysis,and wooden barrel theory were used to design “helping the development of science and technology,industry value Co-construction " and sets up the development plan to its intelligent power service platform,and proposes measures and guarantees for the implementation of this development plan from the four dimensions of marketing capabilities,technical capabilities,human resources,and knowledge management systems.
