Research On The Suitability Ofelderly-oriented Rural Outdoor Public Spacesin Handan

The population aging is accelerating in our country.And how to solve and response population aging problem is important to society.This problem is very obvious in the rural areas because of imbalance development between rural areas and urban.There is a lack of basic construction which is designed for aging people in the rural areas.Furthermore,exterior public spaces are important to aging people because of the high using frequency.So,it is necessary that construct these space for aging people.This thesis focuses on the suitability for aging people of exterior public spaces in the rural areas of Handan.through literature analysis,on-site investigation,questionnaire survey and other methods,comprehensively summarizes the psychological,physiological and activity characteristics of rural elderly,and summarizes the rural elderly Demand for outdoor public spaces.Based on this,a systematic analysis of the current situation of outdoor public spaces in rural areas of Handan was carried out,and problems such as uneven distribution of squares,poor privacy of squares,poor road safety,monotonous green landscape,and severe lack of barrier-free facilities were found,and the convenience was summarized,Safety,facility conditions,aesthetic interest,social atmosphere and maintenance management and other factors that may be closely related to fitness.The structural equation model was used for correlation analysis,the impact factors were screened and verified from a quantitative point of view,and the impact factors were ranked in order to determine the outdoor public space in Handan rural areas with low subjectivity and uncertainty Sexual influencing factors.There are six factors which affect the suitability for aging people of exterior public spaces in the rural areas of Handan.They are convenience,safety,management,social atmosphere,aesthetics and situation of facility and they are ordered by impact level.On the basis of analysis,the author propose design methods for outside public spaces in rural areas.These methods are that pay attention to convenience and safety of exterior public spaces,improve maintenance and management,create good atmosphere for aging people,and improve aesthetics and interesting of exterior public spaces and consummate facilities.Furthermore,the author propose the design strategies for road safety and accessibility,creating comfortable activity spaces,creating delightfullandscapes,completing multiple facilities and improving communication.
